Experience

As the partner in charge of the IP department of the firm, he counsels corporate clients on trademark cases and transactions; He focuses his practice on IP litigation, and he has ample experience in advertising law. He is also responsible for the coordination of the entire department of IP law of the firm.

Before joining Guevara & Gutiérrez, he worked in several institutions related to intellectual property, both in Bolivia and abroad. He was the head of the trademarks department at the Bolivian IP Authority SENAPI, acted as assistant consultant to the drafting committee of the ministry of justice in charge of the creation of the Bolivian IP act, and worked as a foreign associate at the boutique firm “Pons Patentes y Marcas” in Madrid, Spain.
